Loorin Contest Entry

This is my entry for 's coloring contest!

It's not nearly as good as the others, but I did my best...

For Loorin's colors, I did quite a bit of thinking and reasoning. XD

I wanted a whimsical but vaguely warm look to him to imply the Little Red Riding Hood factor, so I made the majority of his clothing bright, warm colors, with the occasional pastel green for contrast so that your eyes don't get sick of seeing so many reds, oranges, and yellows.

I made his eyes bright orange to go with the rest of the warm colors on him. His skin, of course, had to be blue, so I made it a light blue which shakes it up a little. His hair, I debated making a peach color, but in the end, I decided that he needed a dark, burgundy to bring it all together. 

Loorin's little basket, I made a simple greyish brown, so that it kind of looked old-fashioned since Loorin is from a Little Red Riding Hood-type story, which I tend to think of as an old-fashioned kid's bedtime story.

I've wanted to color a jssfloon for quite a while now, so yay! XD
